Wingback Winston Travel Wallet Review

A Premium Travel Wallet with Charm

The Winston Wallet by Wingback is the latest offering from Wingback and is a leathercraft and accessories brand I first discovered over 5 years ago. They are best known for their range of unique and high-quality wallets and first gained popularity when they first crowdfunded their original wallet – The Wingback Cash Wallet. This Winston Travel Wallet is an evolution or re-imagined version of the original Winston Wallet and features a double-barrelled design that can comfortably store 12+ cards and several banknotes stored flat.

As the name suggests the Winston Travel Wallet is aimed at those people who travel frequently. With its larger size and dual pocket system, it allows for convenient separation of your primary bank card for quick and easy tap-and-go contactless payments. The main selling point is the wallet’s ability to store a passport with a large dedicated slot. This can also duel as a compartment for storing travel documents or even extra money. We used the Wingback on our recent trip to Amsterdam and found its compact size, yet amazing capacity perfect for traveling.

One of the best aspects of Wingback as a company is its exemplary craftsmanship and quality. Each Winston Travel Wallet is meticulously hand-stitched in London’s workshop and made from full-grain Tuscan leather, ensuring its durability and longevity. Having used many different Wingback Wallets over the years (you can view a few of our other reviews below) I can easily attest to their amazing quality. Over time, the wallet will develop a rich patina that will develop the wallet color and create unique textures and patterns on the surface of the leather – so beautiful and a sure-fire way to know you’ve got a high-quality wallet.

Overall, the Winston Travel Wallet is a stylish, practical, and luxurious accessory that should be a top consideration if you’re looking for a quality Travel Wallet. Its top-notch quality and attention to detail make it easily stand out compared to competitors and its customization options, ranging from a choice of leather, thread, and custom monogram, add to Wingback’s unique offering in making it a wallet to last a lifetime. Our Verdict

  • Features
  • Usability
  • Value

You won’t find a better-handcrafted leather wallet on the market. For traveling the wallet has everything you’d need for ample storage with a design that has cash, cards, and your passport easily accessible at your fingertips. The only drawback is its expensive price tag, but that’s not to take away from its fantastic quality – well worth it if it’s in your budget.
