Trayvax was founded in 2013 by Mark King, a trained machinist who started the company out of a small studio apartment at the age of 22 with $87 to his name. The original concept began as a reusable plastic bag carrier and pivoted into a machined metal wallet after the bag idea didn't pan out. The first Trayvax Original combined sandblasted aluminium and cold-rolled steel plates with elastic, paracord, and hook-and-loop, launched via Kickstarter, and became the foundation of a brand that has shipped over two million wallets within its first five years. Every Trayvax product is built in Bellingham, Washington, with a heirloom-grade warranty and a mission to bring American manufacturing back to American hands. The range now covers slim metal wallets, leather hybrid wallets, belts, and other rugged EDC gear designed to be passed down rather than thrown away.
