A Wallet Collaboration for the Ages
It’s rare to see celebrity endorsements or sponsorships in the wallet industry, but that all changed this year. The successful brand Ekster, most famous for popularising the so-called pop-up wallet, has gained the backing of the best footballer Lionel Messi. On the back of his World Cup victory last year and his move to Inter Miami CF, he’s been busy in the wallet world with a new men’s wallet one designed, produced, and manufactured by Ekster themselves.
The so-called Messi Wallet, available on both Messi’s official store and Ekster, is a slight variation of the Ekster Aluminum Cardholder which boasts an all-metal design and comes in at not much larger than a standard credit/debit card. The signature feature of this wallet is its stark blue color which is a clear homage to Messi’s home colors of Argentina. Along with this, you also get Messi’s logo embossed on the front clip of the wallet.
