The Full Metal Wallet

Ever since the fusion wallet came out with their original Kickstarter campaign I’ve always admired and been mesmerized by the sheer quality look and design of these creative wallets. This has motivated me to purchase the latest Wallet in their offering the Fusion wallet 4. Let’s now take a look at this very distinctive and unique looking wallet and see what it could offer you.

Fusion wallet is a machine CNC Mancine printed wallet made entirely out of metal and with a highly stylized industrial look to it. The whole thing is made out of a beautiful high quality looking aluminum made out of 13 separate parts and hand constructed. Hi personally love the look of this wallet hello no I do understand it might not be for everybody. Its highly stylized look does get in the way of the overall functionality of the wallet and I can’t help but bring up its hefty size, specifically, its thickness, coming in at 3.8 x 2.7 x 1”. This does definitely crate for a bulky carry experience with the white protruding quite significantly from any pants pocket which is generally uncomfortable.

In terms of functionality, the wallet doesn’t utilize its largest space that effectively. The wallet is designed in a simple card case or cardholder design. Cash and cards are stored in one large top section and wallet and include a cut-out that enables you to swipe your finger or thumb seems later access what you need at a moment’s notice. Total, the wallet can store up to 8 credit or debit cards (embossed cards), or up to 12 flat plastic or business cards. Around 10 to 15 banknotes can also be stored and the way it is is designed to accommodate international currencies of larger denominations. The final feature we must talk about is located at the very bottom of the wallet. This includes a small area to store 4 SD cards in the base secured with a cross head screw. And hards in very niche feature for sure but it could be useful for those who need SD card storage such as photographers.

Overall the, I have mixed feelings about the Fusion wallet 4. I absolutely adore its creative stylized and engineered look. That being said, its larger size does put me off and its functionality isn’t exactly perfect when it comes to ease of access to cash and cards. Always considered, and coming in at a price tag of £75.00 (or $103.00 USD), it’s really hit or miss whether I feel confident in recommending this purchase.
