The Apache Pine Wallet Review

Is this the Most affordable metal wallet?

The Apache Pine Wallet is a plate-style metal wallet that’s aimed at those people who want to slim down their wallets and carry less with them. The wallet’s design is simple with 2 metal plates (unsure what type of metal it is), fixed together with elastic bands to hold them in place. Cards are then wedged in between the two plates for a total capacity of up to 12 cards. On the reverse side of the wallet is an elastic ‘money strap’ that enables the storage of banknotes that are tucked under once folded.

The variety of designs the Apache Pine Wallet is available in is another reason to consider the wallet as they go beyond what most wallet manufacturers provide in terms of designs and color variations. The wallet is available in a standard array of color options (including black, red, gold, and silver) but also in a range of designs that have been intricately laser-cut on the surface of the metal.  This includes a design with the American Flag or a range of abstract images and animals.

After using the wallet for a little over a month I found it a satisfactory wallet to use at best. The durability of the wallet was compromised as the elastic holding the metal plates together felt loose at times while the cash strap didn’t do a very good job of keeping my banknotes secure. The system for accessing your cards was also a poor experience as when all your credit/debit cards are stacked on top of each other, it can be hard to traverse or easily get access to cards in the middle of the stack.

TL;DR: A satisfactory wallet at best. The design is great and stylish, but in practice, the wallet fails to provide any robust and enjoyable way to access your cash and cards. That being said, at a price tag of less than $20.00, who can complain? This is by far one of the most affordable metal wallets on the market today.
