Ugmonk Bifold Wallet Review

A Premium Handmade Wallet

There’s nothing overly crazy regarding Ugmonk’s range of wallets. What they do offer is wallets of the utmost quality with exemplary craftsmanship and durability. The wallet we’ll be taking a look at today is their reimagined take on the classic bifold wallet. In essence, the wallet has five slots in total, 4 used for storage of credit/debit cards (with a Max capacity of up to 8) with one full width smart for banknote storage. You can see, the Ugmonk bi-fold is very traditional in design and takes a vintage style for those looking for a timeless EDC experience.

The Ugmonk bi-fold wallet is made from full-grain Horween leather. Horween is a Chicago-based tannery that is famed for its quality leather and use of traditional techniques that date back to the early 20th century. Horween leather, in terms of its leather durability, look, and feel, is one of the best in the world. Along with this, all wallets made by Ugmonk are handmade which, in my opinion, creates a more genuine product and one of higher quality compared to machine-stitched wallets. Finally, the wallet is available in only one color offering which is a light green referred to as ‘olive’ on their website.

At a price tag of $108.00 (currently reduced to $72.00) is a fair price for the quality you get with the Ugmond Bifold Wallet (or any wallet in their range for that matter). Its unique coloring, use of premium materials, and handmade quality showcase a deduction to its craft, and the wallet does a great job of that plus ample storage.
