Most wallets in the market today are made from leather although the lower-priced ones are usually not made from genuine leather. The Columbia Wallet is an exception. Made from truly full grain leather, this slim fold wallet maintains its shape for many years even when exposed to harsh weather including rain, sunshine, and snow. This quality shines throughout the wallet including its great construction and craftsmanship. 

The Columbia logo is clearly embossed on the front and the brand name is stitched into the right fold of the wallet when opened. The window features an attractive plaid lining that augments the design of the wallet. As its name suggests, the Columbia Slim Fold Wallet is also very spacious. It comes with three credit card slots on the right and an additional three slots for a total of six credit cards. It has a unique middle wing area that features a clear window for 2 of your ID cards.

The thumb ejector found on both sides of the window allows easy sliding in and out of your IDs. The cash has added security with a zipper compartment. A zipper pocket allows carrying loose change and bus tokens without the risk of them falling out. Once again, the Columbia Men’s Extra Capacity Slim Fold Wallet is on the high side when it comes to wallet thickness but considering the number of card slots and other features that it has, it is an acceptable compromise if wallet girth is not your top priority.

Overall, I found the Columbia Wallet a nice bi-fold to use. It’s definitely nothing special and conforms to a lot of what all bifolds have had for hundreds of years.
