The Ultimate Sketching Wallet

The Sketch Wallet is something a little different I’ve not reviewed in the past. As the name suggests the wallet is aimed at those who either enjoy writing or drawing and is used to not only store your credit/debit cards and cash but also a sketchbook in any easy to carry way. The Sketch Wallet itself first came onto the scene from a successfully Kickstarter campaign back in 2015 raising over $50,000 in funds. From here, Sketch wallet has gone onto creating 4 other Kickstarter campaigns (all successful) with variations and improvements to their initial Sketch Wallet design.

Today, we’re going to be reviewing the classic Sketch Wallet. This beefy wallet isn’t small coming in at 4.5”x6”. This is obviously down to the fact the wallet has the ability to store a note, or sketchbook that comes in at a size of 3.5”x5.5”. The quality of the Sketch wallet is top-notch. Made from non-descript leather I think the quality is better than genuine leather (the worst type) but not as good as the likes of full-grain, putting it somewhere in the middle. Another version of the wallet is available in canvas for a cheaper price and actually gives the wallet a better and more attractive appearance.

Functionality is pretty good and is down to the Sketch wallet maximizing its space thanks to its larger design. With 7 RFID blocking card pockets, for max storage of up to 14 cards, and a traditional full pocket slot at the top for banknotes, the Sketch Wallet can easily store most of what people carry with them on a daily basis. The Sketch wallet can also store a pen that fits in the seam, or bi-fold, of the wallet and is non-intrusive and easy to access.

Starting at a price tag of $36.00 and ranging as high as $62.00, the Sketch Wallet is a fantastic choice for those who want an easy and effective way to store a sketch or notebook. The quality of the wallet is great and the price reflects its good design, fair use of materials, and overall size.
