The PopSocket Pop Wallet Review
A Phone Grip & Wallet Combined
The PopSocket Pop Wallet is an innovative attempt to combined a wallet with your phone while remaining the functionality of the famous PopSocket Phone accessory. For those who don’t know a PopSocket is a sort of grip or mount for your phone that provides an easier way to hold your smartphone on a day to day basis. The Pop Wallet is the next evolution of this and combines a cardholder style plastic device that fits firmly on the back of your phone stuck in place with a sticky adhesive.
Things to note:
- Contactless charging can still work through the Pop Wallet.
- The adhesive is sticky but can be removed with no residue.
- Comes in a huge variety of designs that look fantastic.
- Comes in at a price tag of $25.00.
As a wallet, the Pop Wallet isn’t the most functional and shouldn’t be considered for people looking to completely replace their wallets. That’s down to the small capacity for credit/debit cards (can only store 1 – 3 cards), and no dedicated way to store banknotes. The Pop Wallet is more of a way to keep any ‘most used’ cards close to you in an easy to access way and with this in mind the Pop Wallet is great. In practice, it worked and functioned well and if you’re a fan of using a PocketSocket this is a great way to expand on the functionality.
