A Hardcase Crush Resistant Wallet

If you’re the type of person who needs added security when it comes to their wallet then the Pelican Sports Wallet might be for you. As the name suggests, this wallet is aimed at people who partake in a lot of sports and need a wallet that can keep their belongings safe as to protect them from sweat, the outdoor elements, or simply from accidental damage. In terms of the Pelican Sports Wallet itself, this is achieved with a hard case style wallet made from crush-proof plastic that also is water and dust resistant thanks to its latch closure design.

In terms of the Pelican Wallets functionality, it is very good. Being a Hardcase style, it can accommodate and secure a variety of different items including storage of cash, cards, and small items like coins or keys. The organization isn’t this wallet’s strong points (i.e. no card slots or pockets) and is achieved through a dual elastic mesh on either side. After testing the Pelican’s capacity I found it can roughly hold around 4 - 8 credit/debit cards and enough cash as long as it’s folded up.

Finally, I wanted to test the wallet’s durability as it’s the main selling point of a wallet such as this. I tried a variety of ‘drop tests’ (dropping the wallet from a large height), to see if the plastic would withstand such forces. The tests were a resounding success with no damage to the casing apart from a few scratches and scuffs (something that can’t really be avoided).  I would also like to mention that the Pelican Wallet also comes with a Lanyard and attachment point so you can securely keep hold of it or secure it to something else like your belt or backpack.

TL;DR: A fantastic wallet for those who need some added security and durability in their everyday life. The wallet is lightweight, durable, and has a surprisingly large capacity for its size. The wallet is also very affordable coming in at just $22.00. For more information visit their amazon page using the link below.
