A Notebook Wallet from Loyal Stricklin

The Edison Wallet is a beautifully handcrafted notebook wallet from Loyal Stricklin. Loyal Stricklin are most famed for their Johnny Wallet but have done wonders in developing a classic and traditional array of wallets, and other leather accessories, all handmade with the finest leather. The Edison Wallet is no different, and if you’re looking for a wallet that also duos as a notebook holder with a pen then this might be a great option for you.

Inspired and named after the famed investor, the Edison wallet is of fantastic quality. Made from Wicket & Craig harness leather it has a wonderful deep rich color to it, which is sure to develop a rich patina over time and with prolonged use. This leather is full-grain meaning it’s the highest quality grade leather, built to last with wonderful durability to it. You can’t fault the craftsmanship of the Edison wallet either. Handcrafted by Loyal Stricklin themselves the wallet is beautifully stitched and designed in a functional yet minimalist way.

The unique functionality of the Edison wallet is where the wallet really shines and is most suited to people who enjoy taking notes frequently or want an effective way to carry small paper items of documents with them. Alongside the notebook is also 3 dedicated card slots for a maximum of 6 cards (2 per slots comfortably) and a leather loop where a typical-sized pen can also be stored. It could also duo as a passport wallet as the slot for the notebook is also the size of most countries’ passports.

Overall, I was very impressed with the Edison Wallet. It is a unique wallet meant for a specific purpose but doesn’t go crazy with features meaning it retains and slimmer and more minimalist appearance and design. At a price tag of $140.00 the Edison wallet isn’t cheap but a great option for those who have the budget to spend.
