I’ve always had a soft spot for analogue media. Vinyl and cassettes have been a big part of my life—something I’ve loved collecting over the years. At 30, I even went out of my way to buy a CRT TV just so I could work my way through stacks of old VHS tapes from eBay, digitising and archiving them for the sheer joy of preservation. So, when two of my favourite worlds—analogue nostalgia and wallets—collide, you can bet I take notice. That brings me to the Beats & Bills wallet. A cassette-inspired design that feels like it was made just for people like me. It’s clever, well-executed, and honestly, the kind of idea I wish I’d come up with myself. Ingenious, nostalgic, and genuinely unique.

Created for those who grew up rewinding mixtapes with a pencil or just appreciate the golden era of analog audio, the wallet replicates the look and feel of a vintage cassette. Made from printed vegan leather, it features front-and-back cassette tape detailing, making it look almost identical to the real thing — right down to the spools and label graphics. Despite its novelty appeal, the wallet doesn’t skimp on practicality. It holds up to six cards, includes a full-length note compartment, and offers an optional coin pouch add-on.
