Get Your Minimalism on with Band-it

The Band-it is a simple minimalist wallet made from a combination of elastic and leather. The small Band-it wallet is great as it capitalizes on its small space yet provides a huge range of features considering its size. Band-it first came onto the scene back in 2013 with the success of its Kickstarter campaign raising over $60,000 in crowdfunding success. From here Band-it remains a more uncommon yet viable wallet option for minimalist lovers who want an affordable option ($25.00) when purchasing there next wallet.

The Band-it has a range of features that makes it one of the smallest yet functional wallets on the market. The wallet only comes in at a tiny size of 3-1/2” x 1-5/8” x 5/16” while stain retains a high capacity for around 10 cards. Cash can also be stored in this slot but will have to be folded due to its smaller size. The Band-it also comes with an optional ‘Stealth coin pocket’ that opens and closes with a magnetic strip and allows storage of coins, or other small items (such as keys).

One of the issues I do have with the Band-it wallet is its build quality and general look and feel. The wallet isn’t exactly ‘attractive’ and that can deter people who enjoy carrying EDC (everyday carry) of a more premium nature. Overall, in my month using the Band-it wallet I thought it was fairly pleasant to use with easy access to everything you need (cash, cards, and coins). The being said the wallet isn’t the best and access cards specifically can be a bit annoying as card stacking can make access more difficult. Everything else the wallet provides works well and as described by Band-it themselves. For more information on this wallet check out their website using the link below.
