Vintage Style with Modern Functionality

The Skyborne Trigger wallet is a fine example of a pop-up wallet that utilizes an internal mechanism that can automatically cascade your debit or credit cards at a push of a button. I recent years, these pop-up wallets have gained much popularity and have quickly become one of the most popular wallet types in the market. Today we’ll be looking at Skyborne’s take on a pop-up wallet. Skyborne are best known for their smart wallet - The iTravel Smart Wallet.

Like most pop-up style wallets, the internal mechanism that provides its cascading card feature is very effective. Up to 6 cards can be placed inside with access being available through a push-button located at the bottom right-hand side of the wallet. To add additional functionality alongside this, the metal mechanism is coated or wrapped in a highly attractive full-grain leather that also adds an additional card slot on the outside of the wallet (best used for your most frequently used card - up to 3). This slot can also be where you can store any of your physical cash (bills) but keep in mind the wallet doesn’t actually come with dedicated storage for this purpose.

In terms of quality, I was very happily surprised by the immense quality and premium nature the Trigger Wallet offers. Its leather is of fantastic quality being made from full-grain calf leather. Although it might put some people off calf leather is prized for its immense softness while still retaining a highly durable grain for a long-lasting leather.

Overall, I was very impressed with my time using the Skyborne Trigger Wallet. It excels in its amazing quality of materials and its fantastic choice of leather provides one of the more luxurious pop-up wallets on the market today. Its pop-up mechanism is very fluid (compared to others) and, again, has a great feel and durability to it.

All these factors combined bring the wallet to a more expensive price tag of $114. I don’t think this is necessary too expensive but it is noteworthy that it does lie on the higher side compared to other similar style wallets on the market today. But if you do decide the Trigger wallet is right for you then I can guarantee its quality.
