Mule Carry Trek Wallet Review
Where Adventure Meets Style
Mule Carry is actually another brand from Allett an already highly popular wallet brand creating a wide array of wallets aimed at Adventures or those who want wallets with a more durable/activity-based wallet. Where Mule Carry differs is they wanted to create a more premium range with wallets that are more stylish, use better materials while still retaining functionality from an adventure standpoint. Today we’re going to look in detail at the Trek Wallet the most popular wallet in the Mule Carry range.
Being made in a classic bifold style design the Mule Carry Wallet is a good combination of form and function with a size of 4″ x 3 1/4″ x 1/4″ that is still pretty small (and thin) while also allowing for a great deal of storage and capacity. Made from a combination of 100% premium vegetable-tanned leather with an internal lining of water-resistant nylon you really get the best of both worlds – premium quality leather but also a material suited for an outdoors lifestyle.
The quality is really good and over the few weeks I used the Trek Wallet I never found myself having issues with its craftsmanship and the leather held up nicely with daily use. This just goes to show the quality of Mule’s craftsman as every wallet handmade to order in San Diego, CA. Finally, the Mule Carry Wallet can be bought in a small but nice array of colors including black, brown, and a deep maroon red.
Functionality is pretty damn good with the Trek Wallet also. Inside the wallet are two dedicated card slots can store up to 5 cards each for a maximum capacity of up to 10 credit/debit cards. Slots are roomy and secure and access to cards is a breeze. At the back, is a typical full-width banknote slot for storing your bills with enough space for plenty of cash (can also store international bill sizes, not just USD).
The most unique aspect of the Mule Carry Wallet is the inclusion of a so-called ‘Mini Pen’, a small compact pen that has its own dedicated card slot located just above the righthand card slot. The pen is of great quality and isn’t so small that it’s difficult to use with a great writing quality to it. Finally, the Trek Wallet also comes with RFID Protection which means you won’t have to worry about contactless fraud crimes for complete peace of mind.
Overall, I was happy with the Mule Carry Trek Wallet and found it to be a highly pleasing and enjoyable wallet to use. The card slots are roomy, with easy access, and the pen, along with its slimline and positioning is something that can in handy much more than I thought it was. The quality can’t really be complained about as it uses great materials with a handcrafted quality. And all this can be bought for an affordable price tag of $50.00.
