Carl Friedik Swanfield Wallet Review
A Designer Leather Bi-Fold
Carl Friedrik is a luxury wallet brand founded in 2012 in Italy. Their Swanfield Wallet is one of their most popular in the range and is their take on the classic bi-fold style of wallet. Made from Vegetable-tanned Vachetta leather, I hadn’t come across this type of leather before but found it to be incredibly premium in quality being full-grain with a deep rich color that develops a natural patina over time. Full-Grain leather is the highest quality type of leather on the market so you can rest easy knowing that this wallet has the highest chance of lasting a lifetime without the need of being replaced.
In terms of the Swanfield’s functionality, the wallet is basic but in a very attractive and easy to use way. Coming in at a price tag of $90.00 the Carl Friedrick Sawnfield Wallet is on the upper end of the price spectrum but still affordable compared to other wallets of the same, or similar, quality. I think it’s a fantastic, simple to use, and timeless take on a leather bi-fold and best suited for people who want a nice compromise between size and functionality.
