The Ariat Wallet Review
A Vintage Rodeo Style Wallet
The Boot Rodeo Wallet by Ariat is a distinctive leather long wallet designed with a traditional cowboy or western look. This unusual design is a refreshing take on what most wallets look like and great for people who want a vintage and unique appearance to their wallet. Ariat, as a brand, was founded on the idea of developing products made to last for the outdoors environment. This was brought upon by the founder, their deep love for rural living, growing up surrounded by Agriculture in Pennsylvania.
The first thing to note about the Ariat Rodeo Wallet is its intriguing all-leather design. With a complex pattern on the front, and is formed from 2 different types of leather, the Ariat Wallet gives a vintage look one which is unique enough to stand out from a crowd. I couldn’t get an ID on the leather itself but from my experience, it seems to be made from a combination of fine-grain and faux leather. The leather itself isn’t the best quality in the world which is a shame since the Ariat brand does boast a premium-quality look & feel. Just something to keep in mind.
In terms of the Ariat wallet’s functionality, it excels from the fact it’s a larger long wallet (coming in at approximately 7″ X 3.5 x 1.25″). This benefits its ability to easily storage cash and cards (with a max capacity of up to 30 credit/debit cards) thanks to its 15 individual card slots but does come with the drawback of a larger size. This means if you’re somebody looking for a more compact sized wallet (minimalist wallet) then best to look elsewhere. This wallet isn’t easily stored in a front or back pocket and best suited for an overcoat style ‘deep’ pocket. Cash (banknotes) cab be stored within one of the two included long internal slots.
Coming in at a price tag of only $49.99, the Ariat Wallet is a well designed and feature-filled wallet. I don’t personally think this wallet is for everyone down to its unique style and overly large size. But I think for the right person (who wants both a unique style and great card capacity) this isn’t a bad choice at all.
