Swanky Badger is all about their customizable wallets. While some brands may allow for a monogram of a few (usually up to 3) characters, Swanky Badger has taken it to the next level and provides a range of options including a full message to be printed on the inside of the wallet including symbols. Swanky Badger themselves stands for the idea of enabling real human connection. The story started with the founder unable to purchase custom groomsmen gifts for his wedding. Swanky Badger was born with both quality and personalization in mind.
The first thing to note is Swanky Badger offers a huge variety of different wallets to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a classic bi-fold with coin storage or a more minimalist cardholder Swanky Badger probably has you covered with their range of choice. That being said, I have to talk about the quality of their products. Each wallet is made from Split Leather. Split leather is actually one of the lowest quality grades of leather on the market and this clearly shows when I initially unboxed my wallet and when using it on a day-to-day basis.
Overall, I found the Swanky Badger wallet I used great. The functionality is great and the custom engravings you can get are some of the best on the market. That being said, I can’t help but feel a bit disappointed by the actual choice of leather used as split leather is known for its poorer quality that will degrade faster over a shorter amount of time. These types of wallets are best as Groomsmen, or Farther’s Day Gifts as they excel in their customization options, but also in being highly affordable for when you have to purchase many.
