A modern-day bifold with premium design
Roik is a Spanish wallet brand first established in 2016. One of their signature wallets is the Roik Avenue that takes the form of a modern-day leather bi-fold. Where the wallet really stands out is in its affordability yet premium use of materials (made from fine grain leather) and elegant design (with a classy range of colors). Laid out in a bi-fold style the Roik Avenue has 4 card slots spread out on either side of the bi-fold and with a maximum capacity of up to 12 cards. The wallets card slots are very roomy allowing you to store multiple cards in each without compromising the integrity of the wallet. At the top of the wallet is a long full-width banknote slot that can accommodate a range of currency whether you’re using Dollars, Pounds, or Euros.
Keep in mind that compared to most bifold on the market the Roik Avenue is relatively slim coming in at just 9.8 x 8.7 x 0.9 cm. I like to call these minimalist bifold ‘hybrid’ wallets as they’re not small enough to be considered true minimalist wallets but fall somewhere in between. This size is honestly perfect as it keeps your wallet to a minimum yet allows for a good range of functionality. This is what The Roik Avenue does best, and along with great cash and card storage, it can also has a dedicated coin slot and RFID Security for added protection - all the work perfectly.
TL;DR: If you’re looking for a slim sized bi-fold with a range of great functionality then the Roik Avenue should definitely be in contention. Along with unique features like coin storage, the wallet is well built and durable. Is the wallet worth $80.00? We think so, but we’ll leave that up to you.
