Premium Craftmanship in the USA

Handmade and produced in American since 1969 North Star Leather are trying to break the modern trend of cheap overseas produced wallets making everything locally with locally sourced goods. North Star Leather produces a lot of leather goods not limited to wallets and including anything from belts, bags, and even guitar straps. Their long history has given them a great reputation and limited to their full lifetime guarantee.

The wallet I tried was their Horween Leather Trifold. Horween Chromeexcel is potentially a name you’ve heard as it’s produced by the world-famous tannery based in Chicago. The wallet is very well built and I couldn’t fault the craftsmanship at all. The wallet is very simple in functionality with three pockets for credit/debit cards and a large long slot at the top for banknotes. Other wallets in their range include the likes of their Rattlesnake Skin wallets, that has an amazing unique look and patternation.

Overall, I was more than impressed with the quality the wallet provided. The wallet was a fine example of amazing craftsmanship and you can’t complain about their choice of leather being sourced from one of the world’s most famous tanneries. Along with this, all the wallets are super cheap starting as low as $6.95 for their standard card holder (leather quality will differ though for the cheaper wallets).
