J Fold Roadster Wallet Review

A Stylish Bi-Fold Alternative

The Roadster Wallet by J Fold is a unique take on the classic leather bi-fold. It’s design is based on providing maximum storage for cash and cards and best suited for people who carry much more than the average person (not for minimalists). Has a great capacity for cash and cards with the majority of the wallets room being taken up by 10 card slots in which two of them are internal cavity slots. This gives the wallet a maximum capacity up to 20 cards if you used each slot for two cards each. Personally, I think this is a little two many (as the wallet really bulks out) and would recommend 1 card per slot for a maximum of 10. But having the option to store as many as this is a rare feature in a wallet and nice to have. Along with this a full-width cash slot at the top (like a typical bi-fold) works well for storing banknotes from all over the world. 

Its design is simple but also has some unique design accents that really make it stand out from the crowd. First, the J Ford Roadster is made from 100% top-grain Italian leather. This gives the wallet a real premium look and feel along with having a soft touch. The J Fold comes in 3 standard colors, including black, dark & light brown, and has a unique front design in the form of two white stripes that extend across the wallet. 

At a price of $88.00, the Roadster Wallet is by no means cheap. I think at this price tag i’d expect a little more as the wallet doesn’t do anything spectacular in its design other than providing great storage. With the range of bi-folds on the market, there are many, I’d consider looking elsewhere before deciding on paying this sort of money for what can be found cheaper - browse our bi-fold reviews here.
