Il Bussetto

Il Bussetto was founded in 2004 in Milan, Italy by Mauro Gobbi, with the aim of preserving traditional Italian leather craft techniques. The brand's signature is a seamless construction method inspired by Tuscan craftsmanship, where vegetable-tanned Cuoio leather is shaped over wooden forms rather than stitched, producing a wallet with no visible seams. The name itself refers to the bussetto, a traditional tool used to polish dyed leather. Every product is handcrafted in Italy from vegetable-tanned hides certified by Il Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata al Vegetale, finished with natural dyes in bold colours, and built to develop a rich patina over years of use. The range covers bi-fold wallets, card cases, coin pouches, cigar cases, and bags.
