DUN was founded in 2012 by Dutch designer Sjoerd van Dam with a simple ambition: create the thinnest leather wallet possible. After six prototypes and half a year of development, the first DUN wallet (DUN meaning 'thin' in Dutch) launched on Kickstarter in 2014 and has since shipped more than 30,000 units worldwide. Every DUN wallet is handmade from premium calf leather, with four quick-access slots holding up to eight cards and a signature cash strap securing up to ten unfolded bills. The brand iterates continuously and has since added the DUN Fold, DUN DUO, and DUN Slim, all built around the same minimalist Dutch design language.
