The Wallet & Comb Combo

As the name suggests Big Red Beard is all about your luscious facial hair. Their main product offering is beard oil and combs with a brand ideology of providing fantastic products for those who love their beards. I’ll be honest, I can’t grow a beard for the life of me. I can only sustain the rat’s tail that some will be familiar with. That being said, I can still appreciate the idea of having a luscious glowing beard the likes of Ganfald would be proud of. Along with their range of beard products they’ve also provided their own range of wallets that combined the idea of enjoying a goods beard and having a relevant wallet as well.

Big Red Beard having developed a wallet that’s primary purpose is to hold what’s known as a beard comb (Specifically there No.5 Comb). For those who are genetically unendowed, this is a type of brush, like for your hair, for combing your beard to provide a full, clean, maintained look. The wallet is minimal in size (coming in at 7.3cm wide x 9.2cm high x 0.7cm thick), and has two distinct slots for cash, card or comb storage. 

The leather of the Big Red Beard is made from thick full-grain leather and is entirely hand sewn. The bigger slot, located at the back of the wallet, can store up to 5 cards with a few bills if you wish. Apart from that, the Beard Beard Wallet is entirely standard with functionality but can be customized depending on the design you want. In fact, Big Red Beard offers some pretty unique and intricate designs etched onto the surface of the leather (see images above for images of those). 

TL;DR: The Big Red Beard Wallet is a basic wallet with a distinct feature only relevant to people who already want, or own, a beard comb from the Big Red Beard company. The whole idea of a wallet that can store a niche item like a comb is odd. The Big Red Beard Wallet comes in at a price tag of $44.99 which is a mid-level price tag. It’s up to you, and your ability to grow factual hair, if this is the right wallet for you.
