GRIP6 was founded around 2014 by BJ Minson and three high school friends in Midvale, Utah. The company's mission is twofold: create high-quality, long-lasting products and strengthen the US economy through domestic manufacturing. GRIP6 sources, designs, and builds its products from raw aluminium, polymer, and steel in its growing Utah manufacturing facility, owning the process from end to end. The brand started with no-slip belts, then expanded into the Metal Minimalist Wallet, which uses a patented lever-fan mechanism to pop out five to six cards when gripped. GRIP6 belts gained mainstream visibility when Jeff Bezos and the Blue Origin crew wore them during the inaugural voyage on July 20, 2021. Every product is backed by GRIP6's lifetime Guaran-Damn-Tee warranty.
